About the instructer

Bailee Wong is an accomplished pianist and dedicated educator whose love for music began at the age of five and has only grown stronger throughout her life. After moving to Boise to further her studies, she became actively involved in the Treasure Valley music community and received recognition in numerous competitions and scholarship programs, including the Boise Tuesday Musicale, Sonatina Festival, Concerto Competitions, and the Steinway Competition.
At just sixteen, Bailee began her formal training under Professor Del Parkinson at Boise State University, where she studied classical piano through the collegiate level. Her experiences as both a performer and scholar not only shaped her artistry, but also deeply influenced her passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of pianists.

Bailee’s teaching is guided by the belief that every student has the potential to become a strong, confident musician. She emphasizes building a solid foundation from the very first lesson, focusing on essential skills such as technique, sight-reading, theory, ear training, rhythm, and musical interpretation. Her lessons are carefully structured to ensure students develop into well-rounded pianists with the ability to not only play with accuracy, but also with artistry and expression.
Bailee challenges her students to reach their highest potential, encouraging discipline and dedication while keeping lessons engaging and motivating. She is known for her ability to accelerate progress, guiding students to learn efficiently and effectively. Whether working with a beginner just starting their musical journey or an advanced pianist preparing for competitions, her students can expect to be pushed to their best abilities while also gaining a lifelong love and appreciation for music.
Bailee’s ultimate goal as a teacher is to equip her students with the tools to succeed both musically and personally—instilling confidence, creativity, and resilience through the study of piano.
